Each book collects 12 issues of the comic. Many have extra short stories and/or artist renditions and brainstorming/design sketches, artwork of original comic cover issues and variant covers. If you are a fan, or know a fan Xmas is coming up, or are like me and were curious about the differences this is a great buy. These retail for between $42 and $55 Canadian each depending on where you find them. If you can. At $300 for the compete set, that's only $23 each. As mentioned, read once and shelved.
