Equipment Operator

About the Company Allterra is seeking an experienced and Skilled Machine Operator. We perform road construction, site preparations, excavating and shoring, and instillation of underground utilities. Benefits • Company Events • Medical and Dental • Extended Health Care • Counselling Supports • Life Insurance Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain a safe workplace by engaging in and implementing safe work practices. • Understand and complete daily equipment and safety logs. • Ability to understand and interpret Pre-locates and BC One Call drawings. • Able to safely operate a variety of excavators, dozers, skid steers, and front-end loaders. • Can proficiently pull trench, cut slope or grade to finished tolerance. • Communicate with Supervisors, co-workers, and other professionals to ensure project satisfaction. Qualifications • Minimum 3-5 years of operating heavy machinery in a variety of excavations. • Valid Driver’s Licence. • Must be in good physical health and able to lift 50 lbs independently. • Ability to accept verbal or written instructions and work independently or as part of a team. • Dedicated, committed and safety conscious. Schedule Full Time/Permanent. 40 Hour work week with ability to work overtime as needed.
