Mid-century extension dining table in glossy walnut with amazing grain- a classic. Super versatile table for smaller apartment living or big get-togethers. Grows and contracts with the size of the project you're working on if using it for a crafting table or work desk. Features ingenious pull apart mechanism making set-up and take-down simple. Each leaf fits into the next with embedded dowel pins for a secure fit. Stamped below, 'modern walnut' by the maker Knechtels. Made in Ontario, and bought from high-end McArthur's in Calgary as shown on the original box for those interested in provenance. Condition: Great condition for its age, only light surface scratching on 6 of the 8 leaf components, damage on 2 leaves (pictured). I have chosen to include the 2 worn leaves for your discretion, should you decide you want them for use under a table cloth or to refinish etc. Some minor cosmetic wear on the legs. Overall, the table still looks incredibly sleek as most of the leaves were in storage for decades, the gloss is intact, and it was gently used and well cared for.
