$320 · Stained Glass Class

Stained Glass Intermediate /Advanced Level Class - $320 2 consecutive Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm – or a Saturday & Sunday together. Includes all materials and tool use. Saturday, February 8 & 15 or Saturday, March 29 & Sunday March 30 This is a chance to expand your glass working skills to make a special project to take home. It is NOT a beginner glass. You MUST already know how to cut glass, how to assemble pieces together either for foil or lead came and how to solder. Either you have already taken a beginner level class or have had some previous experience working with glass. We can provide a variety of 12” x 20” project patterns for you to work with or you can prepare your own design. If you can’t complete your chosen project in the 2 day class you can take it home to finish or come for OPEN STUDIO to work on it. This class will also teach you: • Layering glass to create special colours and texture. • When and how to reinforce stained glass. • Putty application to weatherproof stained glass windows. • Window and door panel installation. • Incorporating painted, fused and sandblasting elements.
