I'm selling two cameras for the price of one. Both seem to be having the same issue - a little piece that allows the shutter to move keeps getting stuck. I was needing to open up the bottom and manually unstick it for the shutter to work again. This happened every once in a while with both cameras. You can look up videos on YouTube with the keyword "Nikon FM2 stuck shutter release" to see what it's all about. I'm selling rather than bringing to the shop to get it repaired because I have other film cameras and don't really need these. I'm honestly not sure what the shop will charge you to repair it. The cameras work fine otherwise. That said, while I'm a photographer, I'm not as proficient in the gadget side of photography so can't really give you much more guidance than the YouTube videos and a recommendation to bring it to a shop to have them repaired. I am selling as-is. A Nikon FM often goes for $100-170 on the used market (I think I paid about $100). A Nikon FM2 often goes for $300-400 (I think I paid about $350) For selling, I live near Broadmead and you can come and have a look at both cameras.
