HealthCare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate, kind and positive individual as a HealthCare Support Worker for a lovely and intelligent 69-year-old female who has a degenerative neurological condition. We need an individual for 3, 8 hour shifts Fri-Sat-Sun., 9-5. We are retired professionals and live in a well-appointed home in the Maplewood area of Victoria. We are looking for someone who can be the "hands and feet "for this individual providing essential assistance with activities of daily living in order to ensure she maintains a high level of comfort and quality of life. Responsibilities: - Showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding. - Preparing meals - Carrying out physical and speech therapy exercises, as directed. - Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment. - Administering medication, as directed. - Occasional community outings using wheelchair taxi service. - Engaging in meaningful conversation and companionship. - Running errands and grocery shopping, as needed.
