Landscaping foreman/woman

Yorkshire Landscapes Inc is a leading landscape design/build/maintenance company in Victoria. This year is shaping up to be our busiest yet and we are looking to hire hardworking individuals to join our installation team. Our work environment includes: On-the-job training/Continuing education Safe work environment Regular social events Lively atmosphere 4 Day Week in the Summer The right candidate will have 2 - 3 years of practical experience in some or all of the following job duties : Hire, supervise and schedule staff Plan and direct grounds maintenance Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work Maintain work records and logs Read blueprints and drawings Repair and maintain equipment Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Resolve work related problems This position requires someone dependable with excellent communication skills and confidence in the landscaping industry. Must have a valid class 5 and experience with the following: Backhoe Chain saw Front end loader Pick-up truck Small engine equipment Sod cutter We offer competitive wages based on experience and extended benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
