We are looking to rent our summer house, available from August 15th or September 1st, 2025, until June 2026. We are currently flexible and negotiable on various terms: $4,800 plus Utilities (BC Hydro, GFL, CRD). This is our dream home on three acres of majestic forest and animals. It includes four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in the upper suite. The house is nicely furnished with carpets and custom cupboards/countertops and has a fish-bearing creek + swimming hole on the property. The fireplace is one of the most enormous old fireplaces in the Victoria area and is visible in four different rooms on the main floor. Metchosin allows wood-burning fireplaces, which is fantastic, not to mention there's also a fire pit outside. There are hundreds of local trees on the property, and the sound of the creek quiets other noises around you. There are steps leading up to the backside of the property where you can escape and go hiking. There are local bike trails nearby, a bus stop right around the corner, and you're a 10-minute drive from Langford's City Centre, as well as Costco. We are open to renting to people with well-behaved older pets, along with a pet deposit. The garden sheds offer plenty of storage, and there's an additional small cabin outside where the kids or others can "camp" near the water hole if they so choose.
