Hey all! We’re renting our 3BD, 2BT detached home in Park’s Edge, Royal Bay. It’s a newly built home (July 2024) in a quiet cul-de-sac that backs onto a large network of walking trails taking you to the beach, the nearby amenities, or the many breathtaking lookout spots. My partner and I have poured a lot of love into our home and are looking for a respectful tenant or tenants (perfect for a small family!) that will treat it with care and enjoy it as much as we do. The lease is for a year, from Nov 1, 2025 to Nov 1, 2026, with possible wiggle room available. We’d prefer to rent the home furnished or semi-furnished, but ultimately are looking for the right tenant. Pets may be considered on an individual basis. 🏠 ABOUT THE HOME 🏠 Roomy 9’ high ceilings throughout the home allow for beautiful light to stream throughout the open-concept space. All-new appliances, including an induction stove, dishwasher, laundry/dryer, fireplace, etc. Private backyard with a BBQ and an ultra comfortable deck + pergola—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Extra spacious master bedroom comes with a heat pump—perfect for keeping cool this time of year—and features a beautiful ensuite double-sink bathroom. The living room has a natural gas fireplace that brings a cozy atmosphere and tons of warmth in colder seasons (also, baseboard heating throughout). The main space is also equipped with a second heat pump for when things get TOO warm. Lots of mature, large plants that are low maintenance and add an earthy, natural feel to the living space. Two-story home, with the main living area and access to the backyard on the second floor; house entrance, garage, and additional storage on the ground floor. Plenty of parking for two cars in the driveway, and visitor parking right out front for overflow. We have another tenant in a ground-level suite, which is attached to the house but fully separate with its own side entrance and no access to the main house. Our tenant is a lovely, professional woman who lives there with her daughter (grade 9). The home has incredible soundproofing, so we truly never hear a peep! 🏡 ABOUT THE AREA 🏡 Driving time: <5 min: Quality Foods (it has a bar in it!), Red Barn, liquor store, tons of food options, golf courses, bus stops, the Galloping Goose, schools, parks, and the ocean! 5-10 min: West Shore Shopping Center (it’s got everything), miles and miles of interconnected trails around the home (starting near our driveway), Royal Roads (beautiful trails and parkland), Esquimalt Lagoon, Juan de Fuca Rec Center, Witty’s Lagoon, restaurants, beautiful parks and greenspace, etc.! ✨ THE FINER DETAILS ✨ Rent is $3,200 per month + utilities Tenant will be billed by us for natural gas (fireplace, hot water, and BBQ), electrical, and water (no set-up on your end needed). We’ll cover garbage and high-speed internet at no cost to you. References and proof of income required No smoking, no sublets 👋 ABOUT US 👋 Kai is a social worker with the BC government and I work as a paramedic and firefighter. We’re both active people that get in a good dose of squash, kayaking, disc golf, and hikes with all the views.
