Insured and ready to test drive. You can drive it but you'd want to finish installing the upgraded brake lines before too long. Shouldn't take much time but unfortunately my health prevents me. I have the brake lines and a good tutorial for how to change them. Located in Victoria BC. I'll start by saying that this runs on either diesel or vegetable oil and comes with a 12v portable pumping and filtration system. It's a 1991 Delica L300, 4x4, diesel, high roof that I've put a lot of work into, and have a lot of parts for. Sadly my health outlook has changed and I'm not able to keep going with it. I have the bullbars and body trim pieces. It comes with thousands of dollars of recent work and a lot of good parts to make it rock solid. 240k km. Please message for a link to my maintenance log and current/future maintenance to do. I can also show my stack of receipts for parts. Some of the things I've done in the last 6 months. - big front brake upgrade with everything replaced. - new rear brakes with everything replaced. - custom 2.5" side exit exhaust with a "quiet", massive, chambered glasspack. - gas lift shocks in the rear, torsion bars tightened in the front to give it a little more height. - JDM full length roof basket and ladder. - removed rear seats and installed a thick, sound deadening, rubber matt. - rudimentary bed platform that I sized to fit tote bins nicely under under it. - upgraded rear door shocks to handle the ladder on the back while also adding a few extra inches of height so the rear door is roughly parallel when opened. - front wheel bearings done with brakes. - front upper balljoints done with brakes - replaced the thermostat and coolant sensor. - replaced all belts - replaced coolant and used a UV additive so any leaks will be easy to locate and diagnose in the future. - painstakingly removed the surface rust from the wheel wells then undercoated them. - found the largest tires I could without rubbing problems. They're currently on r16 Toyota rims but I have 2 other, better, options. - overdrive solenoid delete. (The valves go bad on these and lock out 4th. It won't be a problem now). - front sway bar removed. (I have it if you'd like to put it back on but it doesn't affect much) -new fuel cutoff solenoid -new transmission oil temp sensor Before I purchased it -timing belt replaced at approximately 240k km and maybe 2 years ago -font auto locking hubs were upgraded to manual -WVO system was installed at an unknown date. (After purchasing the van I had it inspected by the engineer who designed the system and he confirmed it's in good condition) -previous owner did the timing belt. - previous owner installed spring assist shocks on the front. -rear hitch installed. Comes with the following preemptive maintenance, or extra, items - full timing belt kit - driveline maintenance kit with all front/rear u-joints and input/output shaft seals. - brake master cylinder rebuild kit for when it needs it, or it could be done preemptively. - egr delete kit with egt probe and gauge. - boost gauge and manual boost controller. It's been rigged up to monitor boost but has been set to run at 12psi stock while awaiting the EGT gauge. - 2 sets of alternate rims. 1 Toyota 4runner rims I've painted black. 1 set of jdm delica 16" aluminum mag wheels that need refinishing. - original bullbars, front bar steps, side step, and fog lights. - original plastic body trim - extra WVO tank. -probably around 300 liters of veggie oil for fuel. I'm sure there's more to mention but the bottom line is that I've worked hard to make this a reliable vehicle I can safely take on adventures without wondering if my bcaa is still valid. It could still use a couple things to get to that point but it's very close and I already have most of the parts that might need replacing in the foreseeable future. Feel free to shoot me a message and I can send more information on what I believe you'd want to do on it to finish it up. Also, feel free to shoot me any questions you might have. Including more details of why I think I won't be able to finish it. It's a 34 year vehicle and has some quirks and there will always be little things that need working on. I would prefer to sell it to someone who's mechanically inclined and will look after it.
