Rare Korg M1R EX Rack Mountable Synthesizer $350

The M1 Sample + Synthesis workstation is the most popular synth of all times. Two card slots are provided as a means of quick and simple memory expansion. One slot accepts RAM cards for storing and directly accessing Programs, Combis, and sequence data. The other takes PCM cards containing alternative waveform data. Plenty of third‑party companies provided support. It can play back eight channels simultaneously, with your choice of different voices, layered synthesizer sounds and drums. This M1 unit is in excellent working order, the outside case is in fair to good condition, with some light scratches on the front above the LCD and on the back around the MIDI connectors. It was expanded in the early 90s (M1R EX) to include the T1 sounds and samples library (EX Memory Card + internal chip replacement).
