$100 · Greenworks 40V tools

I've had these tools for over 5 years and they've been great. While I don't see the exact trimmer model still available, the one out there now is very similar, without the brush cutter kit that comes with this one. None of these tools has given me any problems and they are still working as new. Priced as follows: brushless 14" trimmer/brush cutter bare tool $100; brushless 16" chainsaw bare tool $100 (with 2 extra chains) Batteries $50 each w/charger Batteries and chargers are all fine. The batteries that came with the mower, which is 10 years old, were replaced by Greenworks with new ones after getting the chainsaw, so the batteries are all between 5-7 years old and work fine though probably don't have quite the original capacity. They said that although the older batteries fit, they would not communicate with the chainsaw. Therefore, all batteries work with all tools. I would recommend 2 batteries with one tool. For large jobs, one can be charging while the other is in use. I can sell the entire set with 5 batteries and 4 chargers for $400 and include the mower for free. I am not selling the mower on its own because it requires several batteries to do a reasonable amount of work. The reason for selling is that I decided to get a new mower in the spring to help a neighbour down the street with her overgrown lawn. The 40V Greenworks mower was the first Lithium mower on the market here, 10 years old, not brushless and pretty small and weak compared to what is out there now. The string trimmer and chainsaw are newer, brushless and much better quality than the lawn mower, which uses the same batteries and is still working after 10 years mowing an acreage. New mower is a different brand, therefore switching to a different battery platform.
