Available immediately, Dec 15 or Jan 1. - 1 pet negotiable*; - Private bath; - In-suite laundry; - One covered parking spot (EV port available); - Utilities and high-speed internet included; - Bedrooms on separate sides with living room/kitchen in between; - Top floor, corner suite of a very quiet/well-soundproofed new building; - Secured bike locker room. - Bedroom is 9’6” x 9’5” with a large closet and high ceilings; - Private bathroom has tub/shower and smaller closet; - Bedroom can come furnished with a twin bed or double mattress, dresser, and nightstand - or you could bring your own furniture if long term; - Shared space: living room / kitchen, balcony, and washer/dryer. - 2 minute walk to Thetis Lake & hiking trails; - 2 minutes to Galloping Goose Trail / Rail Trail; - 10 minutes to bus (on rapid transit route to downtown); - 2 minutes to neighbourhood park, with other trails and Mill Hill nearby. - No parties (but a few friends is cool); - No smoking (building bylaw); - No hard drugs. You should be: - Progressive, respectful, lgbtq+ & bipoc friendly; - Pretty chill, quiet; - Up-to-date on vaccinations; - A dog lover; - Clean and tidy; - Able to manage interpersonal issues calmly and politely; - In possession of a stable income / rent payment source. I am: - 43yo Woman/nonbinary; - Quiet, low-energy when around the house; - LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly; - Clean, tidy, respectful, open-minded, progressive/liberal; - Vaccinated; - Creative, artistic and nerdy; - Employed, working from home 8-5pm Mon-Fri (I’m quiet). My dog: - 6 years old, 65lb female sheepdog-poodle; - Friendly, loves people; - Doesn’t shed; - Cat friendly/indifferent (lived with cats all her life); - Isn’t a fan of puppies or high-energy dogs. You: a super responsible and loving pet parent. Your pet must be cleaned up after, kept fairly clean, not be left alone for long periods, and receive vet care as needed. A dog must be walked/taken for a bathroom break multiple times a day. A cat must have a clean litter box. Your dog: is friendly, low-key, quiet, housebroken, spayed/neutered, vaccinated; doesn’t spray, have separation anxiety, a history of aggression, or a tendency to be destructive. No bully breeds (mine is afraid of them). Your cat: is 100% accustomed to and happy being indoor-only; is quiet, non-aggressive, litter-trained, spayed/neutered, and does not spray. Is cool with dogs (my dog grew up with cats). Other animal: open to discussion. ——————
