Seeking Long-Term Rental: Local Family Looking for Larger Home (July 2026 Move-In) Hello! We’re long-time Cowichan Valley residents who raised our family in beautiful Cowichan Bay. After selling our family home last year, we chose to rent for a few years while we plan our next steps. The home we’re currently in has served us well, but it’s a bit small for our needs. We’re now looking for a larger rental starting July 1st, 2026 (or possibly sooner if our current landlord agrees). Ideally, we’d love to stay for at least two years, as our youngest is graduating from Frances Kelsey in June 2028. What We’re Looking For: • 4–5 bedrooms, 2–3 bathrooms • Garage and yard/garden space (a separate suite or workshop would be a huge bonus!) • Located between South Duncan and Cobble Hill (flexible for the right fit) We’re happy to take care of landscaping and treat any home we live in with great respect and care. A Bit About Us: • We’re local business owners and have previously owned multiple rental properties ourselves, so we truly understand the value of responsible tenants and a good fit. • My husband commutes to Victoria for work, and our teens work in Duncan. • We don’t smoke or drink, and we lead a lifestyle centered around health, hiking, gardening, and wholesome food. • We have strong personal references and financial documentation ready to share if needed. We have one gorgeous non shedding 23 pound dog and a 5 pound cat. We’re intentionally holding off on buying again for now as we wait to see where life takes our kids after graduation.
