2 Rooms for Rent in 3 bedroom 1.5 home in Esquimalt

Roommates Wanted! More photos are available upon request. We have two rooms for rent in the home we are renting ourselves. We have found the landlord to be relaxed and responsive. The rooms are currently furnished but if you are looking to switch out furniture we can have a discussion. One we are renting out for $1200 (first 4 photos) the other we are renting for $1000 (the following 2 photos) due to their size difference. Rent includes utilities. Some pictures of common area are included and more are available upon request. About us: We are Dean and Peter, a queer married couple of young professionals in our late twenties. We have been renting the house since October 2022, and are looking for new roommates after our previous one moved back home. We are mostly quiet, mostly clean, and mostly homebodies. We enjoy board and card games, doing stuff outside, and working on our various home and art projects. Dean works a hybrid job and regularly travels for work, and Peter works outside of the house. We have a sweet-heart of a dog, Bower, who is a rescue shepherd husky mix from up North where Dean is from. About the Place: We live in a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom 3-story townhouse with a large, fenced backyard. The house is not accessible and has many floors and steps up and down. The main bathroom comes equipped with a large tub, detachable shower head, bidet, and lots of storage space. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and an assortment of small appliances (blender, hot water dispenser, instant pot, etc.). The living room has a couch, piano, large television, and board games, and doubles as the dining room with a kitchen table. The backyard has an inflatable hot tub and propane fire pit. We are hoping to build some planter boxes and get a small garden going eventually as well. There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the converted garage, along with the half bathroom and the third bedroom. Street parking. About the Neighbourhood: The neighbourhood is friendly and located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The place is within walking distance to many bus stops (15 min to downtown, 40 min to UVic bus loop, 30 mins to uptown), Esquimalt Rec Center, multiple grocery stores, pharmacies, parks, and restaurants. Ideal Roommate(s) 420 friendly, queer-friendly, respectful, mostly clean, mostly quiet, similar interests is an asset (not a must-have), good with dogs, quiet after 11 pm on weeknights. Zero tolerance for bigotry. Proof of employment is required. References (previous landlords/roommates) would be an asset.
