Barn Find Austin A40 Sports $2500

Up for sale is my '53 A40 sports project car. I bought this car to restore for my daughter, but we have since bought a vintage camper van and I need to make some room. This car is a complete restoration project- bring your trailer! It is a very unique and rare vehicle with Austin A40 running gear, but an aluminum body built by Jensen Motors modelled after their own Interceptor MKI. Only 2300 were ever produced and it is estimated that some 40 remain to this day. The car is in fair, restorable condition. All mechanical components are accounted for. The body is in good shape with no galvanic corrosion, but the bumps and bruises of a lifetime in storage. The chassis is fair with some rust in the sheetmetal rear floors. I have boxes of spare parts and some duplicate mechanical bits. Sold on a bill of sale with a paper trail leading back to a viable Ontario title. Asking half what I paid for it four years ago.
