$2,500 · Vintage 1980 Yamaha SG 1500

Serial: 002128 Based on my research, that dates it to 1980. Either way, with the dot inlays it should be at least older than 1982 since the 1500 switched to block inlays. Made in Japan. Prices I see are all over the place and go up more than $4000. There are a couple of cracks in the finish near the knobs and back of the headstock. Otherwise it's in very good condition for a 45 year old guitar. Tone for days. The guitar is fitted with a set neck with tenon joint construction and solid chrome sustain plate is fitted under the bridge for maximum sustain, it has dot markers and ebony fret board.
