$850 · Upcycled Pulley belt wheel side table

Antique pulley belt wheel table. Base is a salvaged antique cast iron COMET 210 furnace door plate restored with a hot tung oil quench finish. This is mounted to a piece of old growth teak. The riser is an old bike pump cylinder wrapped in antique nautical marline. The wood was given a Scandinavian pine tar finish and several coats of tung oil after it cured. This piece is fine for outdoor use as the pine tar preserves and waterproofs the wood like nothing else can.
