3 young, healthy peafowl, (peahens). Born this past summer, these young birds are about 3/4+ full grown and looking for new homes. My best guess now that they are a few weeks older since posting the ad, is that all 3 are hens. These become large birds that need room to roam, and are best suited on a large property or farm.. It is recommended that they first stay in a suitable enclosure where they can observe their surroundings and learn where home is and who their people and/or other pets are. Hens, who are mostly quiet, honk occasionally when calling for each other or if they see danger/predator. Males are noisy for approximately six weeks to two months per year during mating season. (Otherwise, quiet the rest of the year, unless there is another male within earshot!) Located near Red Barn Market off West Saanich Rd.
