I bought this desk from the original owner. She wrote on it as a child. I wrote my dissertation on it. It has character. The hardware is original. The wood is smooth. All drawers work and the bottom drawer is large enough for files. I enjoy how small the desk is, as it doesn't take over the room. Sad to part with this old friend. It is clean, and from a smoke-free home. The desk is 40" wide, 20" deep, and 30" tall.
