The Gitane DG-250M is a gorgeous maple recreation of the classic Selmer Maccaferri guitar. The birdseye maple back, sides and neck have a high gloss finish. The top is solid spruce. Fingerboard is ebony. It comes with a traditional brass tailpiece, an internal pick-up and soft case. It plays easily. The sound is bright and authoritative, with plenty of acoustic volume. Also sounds great amplified. This guitar is in excellent condition. Retail price is about $1,500, if you can find one.
