Model: PH315-51-59B6 (Acer Predator Helios 300 Series) Drivers (but Windows update will get it all): https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Predator_PH315-51 Display: 17" CPU: Intel i5-8300H 2.3Ghz 4 core 8 thread RAM: 2x4GB = 8GB DDR4 (could be upgraded to probably 32GB if ram prices come down again) Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 630 Storage: 1x 128Gb nvme fast storage and 1x empty slot for 2.5" SSD (or HDD) storage drive Wifi: Intel Wireless-AC 9560 (I can get 800+ mbps from my wifi router) + gigabit ethernet port, HDMI out, USB 3, USB C, SD card slot, light up keyboard, webcam, audio output, AC power adapter All dust cleaned out and thermal paste recently re-applied. Brand new battery. Everything works great except for one thing, the nvidia GPU (a GTX1060), does not work. If you install the driver for it, it will eventually blue screen the laptop. I disabled that device in the Windows Device Manager, and didn't let Windows Update install an nvidia driver. The most likely culprit is that the previous owner let that GPU overheat too much (sigh). I tried 20 hours of troubleshooting to get the nvidia GPU to work and it just will not and can not. This would be a great laptop for non-gaming uses like office work, photography storage, image editing, email, web browsing, youtube etc. I have tested it with a fresh copy of both Windows 10 and 11, and it has worked perfectly if you ignore the nvidia driver completely. I can throw in a free 2.5" harddrive for free if you want, but those are pretty slow drives these days. Laptops boots to Windows in seconds, and Windows 11 is pre-installed if you like. Selling because I needed a laptop with nvidia capabilities, and have purchased a replacement laptop already.
