This is the top of the line Focus model, very sporty, practical, economical and quick, yet somehow luxurious at the same time. Just finished spending $1660 on pre-winter maintenance (if you're serious about the car, I can give you the details). It's a great looking, fine-running hatchback with all the bells and whistles including hot heated seats, electric sunroof, traction control, fold-flat rear seats, steering-wheel audio controls and airconditioning. The body is very good with few if any parking lot dings, just the occasional small scratch and a smidgeon of clear coat peel on the hood. Otherwise, it shines up beautifully and gets compliments. Mechanically, runs like a dream, especially given the recent work put into it. The tires are good, show lots of tread and have the M&S logo so can be driven year round. Good sound system, excellent clutch, and the manual transmission gives the fuel-saving 2.0 litre engine a bit more oomph when going up the Malahat. The kms are at 218,000, fairly reasonable given the model year. These little beasts are known to go for 400,000+ kms.
