Learning is a passion of mine and I enjoy helping others learn more effectively. I am smart, friendly, and an excellent communicator. I find unique ways to teach and explain concepts that work for each individual student. I can also help students develop efficient study habits and techniques, prepare for tests/exams, and proofread essays. Primary focus areas include: Mathematics (Grades 1-12) English (Grades 1-12) Sciences (Grades 1-12) Social Studies (Grades 1-12) Open to other subjects as needed I am available after 5pm on weeknights, with some limited weekend availability. I provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for $30/hour as well as group sessions with flexible hourly rates. My degrees include an Honors B.A. in English, an Honors B.Sc. in Biology and Geology, and a M.Sc. in Geochemistry and Planetary Science. I taught undergraduate students for several years as a teaching assistant while completing my Masters degree, and I have previously tutored high school subjects in Ontario.
