Production Assembly

We are seeking personable and trainable Production Assemblers to join a high-tech manufacturing firm in Saanichton BC. This is a long-term temporary position, which could go permanent! PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER Opportunity: Full time, this is a contract position Location: Saanichton, BC - transit accessible Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30 pm (start/finish time can be adjusted to fit with local bus schedule) Wage: $20.00 /hour to start Start: As soon as possible ADVANTAGES • Starting wage $20.00/hour • Transit accessible • Work in an exciting high-tech manufacturing firm • Opportunity to learn new production and assembly skills • Friendly and flexible culture, focused on teamwork RESPONSIBILITIES • Working individually and with a team of assemblers to meet production deadlines • Building wire harnesses • Soldering & crimping connectors • Assembling small components • Final construction, testing and inspection of control grips and joysticks • Assisting with development & optimization of production processes • Maintaining assembly documentation • Following established procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment QUALIFICATIONS • Grade 12 education or equivalent • Aptitude for repetitive, detail-oriented work • Enjoys working with your hands • Ability to stay focused and follow instructions • Team player with good interpersonal skills • Positive attitude and professional manner • Soldering experience and skill with small power tools is an asset but can be trained SUMMARY If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
