$1,100 · Two rooms for one person w/ shared Kitchen & Bathroom

Hello, we are a middle aged couple looking to rent out two rooms in the upstairs of our house to one compatible female. We are private people who aren't looking for a room-mate to hang-out in the common areas of our house but rather someone who enjoys their own space. The upstairs is divided so that we have our living room and bedroom at one end of the house and your two rooms (a bedroom and a slightly larger sized living room) are at the other end. We would share the kitchen and bathroom spaces with you. A washer and dryer would also be shared with us. A separate fridge can be set up in your space if need be. Apart from your closet spaces there is some limited storage space for a bike or a couple of boxes in the garage (no storage in common areas). Parking is on the street only. Power, utilities and hi-speed wi-fi are included. There's no cable TV. The house has a lovely backyard with fruit trees and a deck with a hot tub. The front yard has a garden space for flowers and/ or vegetables. We're located in Vic West about half way between the Gorge waterway and the Songhees waterway with lots of beautiful walks. We are very close to the Galloping Goose Bike path. We are also very close to major bus routes to UVic , downtown, hospitals etc. Our preferred house-mate would be a female, employed full-time or student (proof of income req.), a non-smoker and respectful of keeping shared spaces and pots and pans tidy and clean after use (there is a dishwasher). We are early to bed and early to rise people so it would be good if you were too! No noise after 10:00 pm. This is a quiet household with no smoking/vaping of any kind in the house and no parties! No pets allowed. The rental agreement is on a monthly basis and is $1100/month and is available Nov 1st, 2025. We look forward to hearing from you!
