1997 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD - VG33E Selling my 1997 Pathfinder after 5 years of ownership. It’s been an amazing truck for our family, and it’s honestly bittersweet to see it go, but I just don’t drive it enough anymore to justify keeping it. This truck comes with a huge folder of records. The previous owners kept receipts and notes dating all the way back to 2002, and I’ve kept up with that during my time with it. It’s been loved for decades, and you can really feel that when you drive it. The Good: Mechanically, it’s in great shape, and 4WD works flawlessly. The interior is in amazing condition with the only real flaw being the typical tear on the driver’s seat, I have the matching fabric for it, just haven't had the time to fix it. I’ve also upgraded the head unit to an Alpine, put in better front speakers, replaced the dash, reverse, running, plate, and brake lights, as well as added fog lights. It also comes with a full size spare. Recent Work: I’ve put a ton of effort into keeping this running as well as I can. Over the last few years, I’ve done: • Engine/Cooling: Timing belt & tensioner, radiator, thermostat, NGK plugs, distributor, knock sensor/wire, and fuel filter. • Drivetrain: Complete clutch job (clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, pilot bushing, throwout bearing), plus the rear main seal and both master/slave cylinders. • Suspension & 4WD: Manual locking hubs, new CV axles, all U-joints (front and rear), ball joints, tie rods, and sway bar bushings/links. • Brakes & Exhaust: New brake lines, fresh fluid, new muffler and exhaust gaskets, and a new driver-side exhaust section with O2 sensor. • Misc: New front passenger ABS sensor, battery, hatch and glass struts, gas cap, Bosch wipers, transfer case and differential fluid flush, regular oil changes. The Not-So-Perfect Stuff: • Exterior: It’s a '97, so it has the odd chip and some rust around the rockers and rear wheel wells (I’ve included photos so you can see). • Tachometer: Doesn't work. I tried to fix it, but it would require a new instrument cluster and I didn't want to go that far. • Windows: Rear passenger window doesn't roll up or down. • Check Engine Light: The engine light is on for an emissions sensor. It’s been that way since I bought it and hasn't actually affected anything other than emissions. Note: I have a full set of roof racks (Thule Wingbars and Yakima Load Warrior with extension) that aren't included in the price, but if you’re interested, we can definitely work out a deal to include them.
